Once the school rowing season concludes, the very short masters rowing season commences. Caulfield was out in force at the first regatta of the season at Albert Park Lake. Competing in the coxed quad, doubles and men’s four divisions, it was great to see the Caulfield colours on the water.
Despite the blustery conditions, the energy and enthusiasm of the crews were evident from the outset. Our rowers demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment in each race.
Off the water, the Caulfield cheer squad was definitely the most vocal on the day, loudly cheering our crews on from their vantage point at The Carousel.
The regatta was a lot of fun and provided a fantastic opportunity to practice our skills under race conditions.
The Grammarians row every Sunday morning at 9.00am on Albert Park Lake, and past students, families and friends are very welcome to join us.
