YAAP: Kara Henderson (2015) on Gender Equality

We sat down with Class of 2015 graduate Kara Henderson to discuss her journey to becoming a VFLW player for Hawthorn. Kara let us in on her personal experience with the gender equality issues prevalent within the sporting industry, the changes she hopes to see, and how she balances her passions for footy and paramedicine.

This interview was conducted by a team of young Grammarians as part of our inaugural Young Alumni Tell Their Stories Week – a week of content (including a social media takeover) by young alumni for young alumni. This initiative forms part of our broader Young Alumni Ambassador Program (YAAP).
