2/ Marena Whittle (Class of 2011)
Marena Whittle starred with 15 points in the Gold Medal Game as the Australian Gangurrus went through undefeated to win gold in the 3×3 tournament at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The 3×3 tournament at the 2026 Commonwealth Games wrapped up on Wednesday night Glasgow time firstly with the Gangurrus beating Jamaica 21-8 in the semi finals and then completing the gold medal triumph with the 21-11 win against Uganda on the back of Whittle’s 15 points.
3/Tim Davis (Class of 2000)
A Silicon Valley AI software start-up co-founded and led by an Australian entrepreneur is set to be sold for $US3.9bn ($5.6bn) after only four years in business.
Modular, co-founded by Melburnian Tim Davis, announced on Thursday morning Australian time it was being acquired by Nasdaq-listed Qualcomm in an all-scrip deal.

4/ Ben Williams (Class of 2007)
Since graduating, Ben has built a successful career across real estate, technology and entrepreneurship. He was previously Head of Investment at Homely and has since founded and grown several businesses, including My Rental, which he successfully exited. Most recently, Ben founded Unreserved Real Estate, a proptech platform giving Australians a new way to sell their own homes without a traditional real estate agent. Unreserved is currently progressing through due diligence on a $1 million seed round with Sydney Angels as the business looks to accelerate its growth nationally.
5/ Gordon Pan (Class of 1967)

Gordon celebrated his 78th birthday after leaving Caulfield Grammar School, Glen Eira Road, 60 years ago. He completed tertiary education, went home, joined the workforce, got married, raised a family and sent every child to study at CGS.
6/ Ella White (Class of 2025)
A wonderful milestone to celebrate: Ella White (Class of 2025) has been awarded the 2026 Gallipoli Scholarship, recognising her exceptional character, service and connection to her veteran ancestry.
7/ Elliot Cartledge (Class of 1989)
The latest book from author Elliot Cartledge is another treat for Richmond fans. From Hafey To Hardwick is the follow up to his 2011 book, The Hafey Years, and chronicles half a century of tumultuous Tiger history – the characters, the controversies and the remarkable rise under coach Damien Hardwick. Co-produced with the club, it is available to order online here
