CGA Athletics Cross Country Season 2025

The Caulfield Grammarians Cross Country Club is eagerly anticipating the 2025 season and welcomes new runners looking for competitive racing, a way to stay fit, and the opportunity to be part of a friendly and social environment.

Competing in the APSOC Association against other APS schools, the club is part of an 86-year tradition of cross-country racing. The season runs from April to September and features 12 races across various Melbourne metro locations. Courses range from flat tracks to hilly trails, with conditions varying from dry paths to muddy terrain. Distances include everything from a lap of The Tan to 10km events. The season kicks off on April 5th with a 5km race held within the Scotch College campus.

Runners of all levels are encouraged to participate, with races recognizing both the fastest competitors and handicap results, giving everyone a chance to win a prize. The club’s Men’s and Women’s number one teams compete in Division A.

Once again, Caulfield will host its own event at the Wheelers Hill campus. The 8km course is set to start and finish on the main oval, incorporating the challenges of Jells Park.

With a fantastic group of runners proudly representing Caulfield, new members, along with their family and friends, are warmly welcomed.

Come and be part of the tradition—run in The Hoops!
