2026 is our eleventh season competing in the Associated Public School Old Collegians (APSOC) cross country season. Caulfield is well entrenched in the premier 1st Division.
Again, we have had some great team results. 30 enthusiastic runners have competed over the season. In the first race of the season held at Haileybury (Berwick) the Women’s team finished 1st and the Open 1 team finished 3rd. A great start to the 11-race season.
As in past years the Saturday afternoon events are spread across various locations and terrains in the Melbourne suburbs and include mass starts, pursuit, handicap and team races.
The APSOC events cater for all standards and is a very inclusive atmosphere, with very quick younger runners mixing it with veterans who have been competing for many years.
There is one further premiership teams race for the 2026 season and our Open 1 team is currently 3rd and the Women’s is currently 2nd.
We’d welcome all interested members of the school community and friends to run with us in 2027. The season operates from April to September with 12 races spaced fortnightly on Saturday afternoons.
