2/ Molly Reiger (2014-2023 Langley) having graduated from Shelford in 2023 known for her athletics and tennis prowess. Molly moved to the Gold Coat for studies in the Bachelor of Medical Science at Bond University to follow a passion for improving women’s health. Molly has taken on leadership positions in Health Science and in the Student Association while also a Student Resident Fellow with a role as a Future Student Liaison and in May 2025 was elected as the Undergraduate Student Ordinary Member of the Bond University Limited. Molly has fresh memories and fun stories of her life at Shelford. in glancing through Quaerite 120th anniversary edition, Molly spotted a photo of her parents Marcus and Vinka Reiger dancing with enthusiasm at the dinner celebration in 2018. Molly committed to bring Giselle Davey (2015-2022) to our next Shelford luncheon.

Hélène Hutson (née McDonald, Shelford 1956-1959, Blundell) treasurer of the Beenleigh Probus and assistant treasurer of View Logan. A 2025 Logan Legend awardee by member for Rankin and Federal Treasurer, Jim Chalmers, Hélène is known for her relentless passion for sewing. She made over 100 Dignity Bags for most grateful community women, many of whom are often homeless and in distress. Always active, Hélène makes utility bags, as Care Kits for Kids, in between driving her theatrically talented grandson from Canterbury College hither and yon to rehearsals around Brisbane.

4/ Annie Butterfield (née Thompson, Shelford 1965-66 Lloyd) is our reliable luncheon booking agent at the charming Emerald Lakes Golf Course Bistro where she is a member. Family of adult children and grandchildren is integral to an enjoyable healthy life for Annie.

Ann Dashwood (1959-64 Lloyd) keeps the memories alive as the unofficial gatherer of Shelford alumnae who move to follow their career futures into Queensland. The Garden City Toowoomba is a Refugee Welcome Zone of successful settlement serving the large Eizidi (Yazidi) population from Iraq, with Syrian, African and subcontinent immigrants. Demand for English, citizenship and educational skills among volunteer retirees is alive and well. In Toowoomba, our First Nations Australians welcome recent arrivals with this festival of lantern lights.

7/ Annis Babb (née Benjamin, Shelford 1951-60, the year of 66 Langley) has a wonderful knack of maintaining friendships, among them many Shelford girls. Having been at Shelford from 4years of age, Annis has met up since with Jennifer Rogers, Di Harvey, Marilyn Paul née Dear, Ann Mundy, Carol Symonds, Carol Fletcher, Paat Schreiber, Helen McFarlane, Mary Schiff, Helen Taft, Marion Hosking, Jennifer Lustig.
