We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Technician to join our team at the Wheelers Hill Campus on a part-time (3 days a week) 12-month fixed-term contract.  

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our dynamic school community. With a strong foundation in design and workshop fabrication skills, the ideal candidate will bring valuable expertise in utilising workshop tools and equipment. They will also play a key role in ensuring smooth information flow, utilising their strong IT and communication skills to enhance engagement, streamline processes, and facilitate effective collaboration with students and colleagues. 

Key Duties

• Provide support for the members of the Design teaching staff in an administrative, organisational and technical capacity and technical support to students in classes 
• Providing assistance to students with timber, acrylic and metal based designs  
• Coordinate and manage materials and equipment for 3d printers and laser cutters 
• Manage exhibitions and display of student works and complete associated duties 
• Preparing timber, acrylic and metal for class use 
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
