Caulfield Grammar School has a proud history in APS Swimming, and we are looking to appoint a Head of Swimming with a strong vision to lead a progressive program and drive excellence throughout all phases of the Swimming program. 

The Head of APS Swimming will develop and implement a season plan and coaching program to support and develop the APS Swimming team and specialist coaches. You will explore, present, and deliver strategies to further promote and strengthen swimming through both internal and external opportunities. 

This is a short term 3 month opportunity for the duration of Term 1, with the view/possibility to extend employment at the conclusion of the APS Season.

Fixed Term Opportunity based at Caulfield & Wheelers Hill Campus, Part Time on Tuesdays from 11am – 4pm, Thursdays from 3pm – 6pm and all scheduled APS swim meets on Saturday from 7am – 2pm. (Including the APS Final’s Night & All School’s competition) 

Key Duties: 

• Manage all aspects of the CGS APS swimming program 
• Inspire our APS Swimming Community to reach their full potential by engaging and developing our dedicated team of Swimming support staff, coaches and students   
• Hold a vision for how to maximise the opportunity for a large multi campus school in APS swimming across all levels  
• Offer a strong technical base and a willingness to educate others 
• Attend training sessions/camps/fixtures and complete any administrative tasks in a timely manner 
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour
