Applications are invited from qualified classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching VCE Economics at our Caulfield Campus. The candidate will be enthusiastic, possess a forward-thinking mindset, and demonstrate aspirational teaching practices. 

This is a full time 12-month fixed term 1.0 FTE position commencing January 2026. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students and for utilising learning technologies. This position is for an educator with expertise in VCE Economics and a passion to support students with financial literacy. Versatility to draw upon skills and experience teaching Business Management or Legal Studies will be an advantage.  

Key Duties 

• Review and assess students at the beginning of each program
• Integrate Formative Practice Techniques
• Provide a flexible program that caters for individual students
• Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn
• Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
• Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Provide reports within school standards and timelines
• Actively participate in professional development activities
• Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
