We are seeking a passionate and experienced classroom teacher to fill a specialist role teaching Music (Years 7-12) at our Wheelers Hill Campus. Reporting to the Learning Area Leader, this will be an exciting opportunity for interested applicants to join our dynamic and supportive Music team, building a rich curriculum for students at Caulfield Grammar School. This is a permanent, part time (0.5) opportunity due to start in January 2026. 

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, values-driven and possess a forward-thinking mindset. They will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students, a strong commitment to ongoing professional learning and development, and will be comfortable utilising learning technologies.  

Key Duties

• Review and assess students at the beginning of each program to provide a flexible program that caters for individual students  
• Deliver learning programs that demonstrate research-based knowledge of how students learn
• Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
• Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Provide reports within school standards and timelines
• Actively participate in professional development activities
• Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
