Analyst (Graduate/Entry Level)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The role of the Analyst is to provide research and analytical support associated with acquisitions, development projects and/or asset management of operating properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities through financial modelling, analysis of cash flows and application of valuation principles using Excel software.
– Assist with due diligence processes associated with acquisitions by performing document control, reading lease abstracts, verifying projections or other duties as assigned.
– Assist in the preparation of internal and external investment reports including investment deal summaries and Investment Committee reports, with responsibility for written and graphic requirements.
– Participate in the asset management of existing properties including market research, leasing, property sales and administration of investor requirements. Duties may include reviewing leases, property financial statements or determining feasibility of proposed capital projects.
– Participate in the development management of projects including feasibility analysis, entitlement processes, financing, design, contract negotiation, tendering, and construction management.
– Source, maintain and update sales and lease comparable databases.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
– Working towards or recently completed a relevant degree in property development, or finance.
– Strong interest in and developing knowledge of the RE market.
– Strong financial and analytical skills.
– Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Ability to foster strong relationships.
