Affiliate Catch Up

All Affiliate Club members are invited to join our Affiliate Catch Up on Wednesday 15 September from 5.30pm-6.30pm (AEST). This online event will be a fun opportunity to have a casual chat, swap stories over a drink and brainstorm ways we may be able to assist one another. Our Affiliate Clubs are vitally important to us at the CGA and we want to ensure we support you as much as possible. We are keen to help keep your group engaged and connected, and remove any barriers to your activities. Please feel free to invite your members to the catch up – we’d love to have at least two representatives from every group present. RSVP: 5pm Friday 10 September (once we receive your RSVP you will receive a separate email with the meeting link/login details). We hope to see you there.

Netball Club Report – December 2018

The Netball Club has been running for over two years now and is proudly affiliated with the Caulfield Grammarians’ Football Club. We formed the club so that we could share our passion for the game of netball, maintain a healthy lifestyle and continue our relationship with CGS. We are pleased to now have four teams playing throughout the year in competitions at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre and in the Richmond Netball Association. We were extremely excited to have had two teams make grand finals for their respective sections during the first season of the year. Recently, we were fortunate enough to be supplied with all necessary equipment for game days and training, with thanks to the CGFC and CGA. We are in the process of organising an optional training session to supplement and furt...

CGFC Report – August 2018

The CGFC has been a hive of activity since the 2018 season commenced in April. We were able to re-sign all our coaching panel, whilst adding some additional expertise, which was important for the development and stability of the Club. This was particularly so, given the elevation of our senior men’s team back in to B grade and the introduction of a second women’s team. We were delighted that both our women’s and under 19 teams maintained their position in the Premier division in 2018. This provides a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase the talent we have across the Club to the broader CGFC community and prepare our players for further development. We were pleased that a number of our 2017 women’s team were able to go on to play in the VFLW in 2018 and that some of our under 19 team me...

Our Affiliates are the heart of our community and there’s always something happening whether it’s a friendly match between the CGA and CGS teams, a performance or APS competition. We encourage you to join an Affiliate Club. No matter how you choose to connect, your involvement will ensure the CGA remains welcoming, active and supportive.
