COVID-19: Events Postponed

Through consultation with our leadership and the School, and ongoing monitoring of COVID-19 reports and forecasts from the World Health Organization, the CGA has made the difficult decision to postpone the following face-to-face events: Founder’s Day Dinner – Friday 1 May Class of 1995 25-Year Reunion – Friday 22 May CGA AGM – Monday 25 May Class of 2010 10-Year Reunion – Friday 12 June While some of these events are quite a way off, our eight week lead in time for event planning means that we need to make the call now. We also anticipate significant attendance of over 100 guests at several of these events. With the government’s current restrictions on gatherings, interstate travel, and advice around social distancing, we are unable to run them at this t...

CGA Report – June 2019

The Caulfield Grammarians’ Association (CGA) is excited to be focusing on strengthening connections between our alumni and within the broader School community throughout 2019. Our core purpose at the CGA is to inspire lifelong connections and nurture a profound sense of pride in where our alumni are from and where they are going. In order to achieve this, we launched a social media and communications strategy, refreshed brand and visual identity, and a new website – caulfieldgrammarians.com in mid 2018. Now a year on, we have seen a remarkable impact on our community: online engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn has increased exponentially with more events and consistent communication, event attendance has increased by 24% almost 4000 alumni have updated their detai...

2019 Brisbane Reunion

On Friday 12 April the CGA was delighted to host the 2019 Brisbane Reunion at the fabulous Donna Chang restaurant in the CBD. The CGA last held a Queensland Reunion on the Gold Coast in 2016 and the last Brisbane base reunion was in 2013. Given it has been several years since these events it was wonderful to reconnect with our Queensland Grammarians. The night was enjoyed by a broad group of alumni from different backgrounds and generations; we had everyone from 21 year-olds to 89 year-olds! We hope it won’t be quite so long until we are back in Queensland again. You can find more pictures from the night on our Facebook page.
